Increasing frequency = increasing energy = more dangerous (above visible). Decreasing wavelength = same direction.

Mobile phones use frequencies in the 600-3500 MHz range (microwave / very high-frequency radio). WiFi: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (microwave). 5G uses higher microwave frequencies (sub-6 GHz + mmWave above 24 GHz). These frequencies penetrate buildings reasonably + don't interact strongly with human tissue (lower energy than IR). Used for non-line-of-sight communication.
